Aretian Urban Analytics and Design is currently taking the lead on the Masterplan for the Barcelona Innovation District Triangle, which comprises the urban regeneration and economic activation of Bon Pastor, La Sagrera, Diagonal Mar, 22@ Est, and Badalona i Les Tres Xemeneies neighborhoods. One of the many new projects in the neighborhood is Stage2, a brand new Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics Startup Incubator contributing to revitalizing the innovation district of Bon Pastor i la Sagrera in the Besòs area. Ramon Gras Alomà recently visited the center to see the current progress.
Stage2 is a nascent innovation center called to play a major role in the coming years in contributing to shaping the success of the Innovation District Triangle ecosystem in the Besòs River area. It is a European-wide venture-backed acceleration program for early-stage industrial tech startups, which take founders from functional prototype to a first industrial series, and support teams with market validation and a growth strategy. They aim at strengthening the role of the industrial sector and improving Europe’s competitiveness by helping startups build prototypes and launching their first industrial processes.
