Although the Greater Barcelona Area promises to become one of the world's leading metropolis that attracts top talent and drives the knowledge economy, it still lacks some of the necessary direction, resources, and dynamics to achieve this vision. IESE Business School through its PPP for Cities Research Center and the Barcelona's City Council Agenda 2030 Commissionate are jointly organizing a conference featuring Ramon Gras Alomà as a guest speaker, who will explain how City Aretian has shaped a new Science of City and novel Urban Design and Economic Development strategies.

The aim of this conference is to showcase how blending art and city science can help enhance the quality of life and opportunities for citizens, as well as the innovation output and knowledge economy thus contributing to the betterment of people’s lives. The event will also highlight emerging innovation districts in the Besòs Area, Badalona, Sant Adrià / les Tres Xemeneies, Esplugues, and Alta Diagonal, innovation districts to which Aretian contributed greatly through its know-how and expertise.
