Ramon Gras Alomà, Aretian Urban Analytics and Design’s co-founder, will contribute to the 6th edition of the MIT course “Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, hosted by Mercedes Delgado and Emilio J. Castilla. The event is being held virtually between June 7th and June 10th and gathers panelists from all fields of expertise, such as Scott Stern (MIT Sloan, NBER), Fiona Murray (MIT Sloan, MIT Innovation Initiative), and Bill Aulet (Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, MIT Sloan). Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship tackles critical issues related to smart cities, innovation, sustainability, responsibility, entrepreneurship and even the impact of COVID-19 on the future of work. It also addresses the latest advances in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship from a multidisciplinary perspective and, in particular, to share, with the best professors and experts from MIT, experiences and knowledge that allow us to understand the challenges faced by startups, companies and institutions that act on the innovation frontier.

Ramon Gras will present on Wednesday the 9th of June and participate in the panel titled “Startups and Smart-Cities Ecosystems” during which he will present Aretian’s mission shaping urban design and economic development projects around the World next to Umberto Fugiglando (MIT Senseable City Lab) and Cory Siskind (CEO of Base Operations).
Aretian Urban Analytics and Design is a Harvard research-focused startup tackling challenges related to Urban Design and sustainability. Our work focusing on Innovation Districts allowed Aretian to acquire a specific know-how helping regions, metropolitan areas, cities, incubators and real estate companies to develop their own ecosystems and foster innovation. Our work aims to promote employment, entrepreneurship and social security. Communities around the world have to brace themselves for the challenges the future holds and Aretian will continue to pursue its mission to help them.
