Jeremy Burke and Ramon Gras Alomà, Aretian Urban Analytics and Design co-founders, recently presented at a digital forum titled: “City Science Illuminating Case Studies on Innovation Districts”, which was organized by 27Group and the Rebuilding Humanity Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 27Group is an ASEAN-based consulting firm with unique expertise development projects that aims at blending values important to humanity into business strategy through socio-economic transformation modules. The event focused on sharing key insights into the ingredients and dynamics that underlie urban and economic development strategies that result in successful Innovation Districts. The Aretian co-founders described their experience and expertise to many experts from all around the world and presented an overview of the insights, findings and case studies from their academic research and boutique consulting project that help shape successful urban and economic development strategies for innovation districts to thrive.
Aretian is an urban design and analytics research-led Harvard startup based in Cambridge, USA, developing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for urban and economic development. During this presentation, Jeremy Burke and Ramon Gras highlighted the importance of Innovation Districts in future urban environments as pillars of the innovation and economic scene in each urban area. As Malaysia and South-East Asia develop their infrastructures and their cities, it will be vital to consider how those urban environments can be planned to offer their communities the best and most sustainable lifestyles, and Aretian will continue to provide its knowledge and expertise to ensure the good development of these projects.
